I was nosing around the other day for a healthy & filling smoothie recipes to have for breakfast when I found this one.
It had sugar in, but I missed that out & it was still delicious. DH & I really liked it, but the kids weren’t keen. They usually love smoothies, so I suspect it might be the oats they don’t like in it. I’ll have to try making it again but with no/less oats in.
- 1 cup of your favourite milk
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 banana, broken into chunks
- 14 frozen strawberries
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Throw everything into the blender & blitz
