Butter bean & herb dip (or spread)

I wizzed this up in a couple of minutes this morning to put in my sandwiches along with some avocado & salad.   It was really easy to make & very tasty.  DH says he & the girls enjoyed eating the leftovers on some oatcakes when they got home from nursery.


  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tin Butter Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper


  1.  put everything in the blender & puree until smooth

Vegetarian. One husband, Two cats, Three kids.
