Napolitana Pasta Sauce



  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 small onion, peeled & chopped
  • 0.5 garlic clove, peeled & crushed
  • 50g carrots, peeled & chopped
  • 200ml passata
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 fresh basil leaves, roughly torn
  • 1 tsp vegetarian parmasan-style cheese (optional)
  • 1 tsp cream cheese
  1. Heat the olive oil & saute the onion, garlic & carrot for 6min
  2. add the passata, water, basil & vegetarian parmasan
  3. cover & simmer for 15min
  4. puree the sauce & stir in the cream cheese
  5. mix with cooked pasta & serve
This is great, everybody loves it 🙂
